Champagne and oyster bar at La Cantine de Candie
At the heart of La Cantine de Candie, the Champagne and Oyster Bar stands out with its warm, contemporary design, where every detail feels like a work of art. The highlight is its striking central chandelier, crafted entirely from upside-down champagne glasses.
In this refined setting, luxury and conviviality blend effortlessly. The world’s great champagne houses are represented here, paired with the finest oysters, chosen for their freshness and briny character. It is conviviality at its most elegant—an aperitif to share with friends or with a loved one, set against the backdrop of the Croix du Nivolet and the Bauges mountains.
Intimate whisky bar in Chambéry
Discreet and tucked away behind the château’s reception, the Whisky Bar is an invitation to unwind. With its lounge-style atmosphere—large sofas, cosy armchairs, and a welcoming fireplace—it offers an intimate yet relaxed setting. Honesty Bar by the pool
The Honesty Bar at Château de Candie is located beside the outdoor pool—an invitation to relax with a sense of trust and freedom. Reserved for château guests, it offers a selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks. The concept is simple: help yourself, note down what you’ve enjoyed, and savour the moment. Free from the formalities of traditional establishments, this bar reflects the elegance of simplicity and respect for its surroundings.
Wine tastings in Savoie with our sommelier
For wine lovers, the experience continues with our tasting sessions. Several options are available to enjoy a wine tasting in Chambéry in an intimate setting, where you can discover both the region’s characteristic wines and selected vintages from further afield. Our sommelier is always delighted to share his expertise and create a convivial, personalised experience for small groups.
Among the wines on offer, he will also present our own house vintage, Viognier de Candie. With its delicate colour and fragrant bouquet, this white wine pairs beautifully with white meats or lake fish.
Produced in limited quantities and not sold outside the estate, this exclusive cuvée is reserved for guests of Château de Candie and La Cantine de Candie. It reflects the estate’s commitment to offering rare, authentic experiences full of character.
